Yesterday I went with my friends here and I got a pineapple sorbet mixed with strawberry sorbet. It was so amazing and the both flavors mixed wonderfully together. The staff were very welcoming and kind.

I visited Cold Stone Creamery yesterday with my daughters for their very first experience there, and they were extremely excited. Unfortunately, the customer service completely ruined what should have been a fun memory for them. As first-time customers, nothing was explained to us, and the staff seemed irritated that we didn’t already know how everything worked. We were rushed through the line, repeatedly told that “everything is extra” in a rude tone, and constantly asked “is that it?” while trying to order. Instead of feeling welcomed, we felt like an inconvenience. The manager checked us out, and when I asked if he was the manager, I explained that our experience as first-time guests was very disappointing and that the staff had been rude. He asked me to point out the employee who was the most disrespectful, which I did, but honestly the overall atmosphere from the staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. Considering how expensive the ice cream is, customers should at least receive decent customer service and patience especially families visiting for the first time. Sadly, this was not the experience we expected, and we will not be returning.

My sister and family came to visit and suggested this. We all ordered different mixes. Very sweet and made to our order. Very friendly staff, clean restaurant, ample parking. Highly recommend for a very sweet sweet treat. I was unable to finish the medium size. Many items went into the mix and it was very sweet. Definitely satisfied my sweet craving for several day. The whole family ordered a different mixture and everyone was satisfied with the serving size and quality. Highly recommend sweet treat something for everyone!

📍 Cold Stone Creamery – McKinney, TX 🗓️ January 10, 2026 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Cold Stone always hits the spot, and the ice cream here was delicious 😋🍨🔥. Staff was friendly and took good care of us 👏✨. The only downside is the location size — for McKinney, this shop is very small 😅📏. With how fast North Texas is exploding in population, McKinney really deserved a larger layout, similar to the Frisco, Allen, or Anna locations 🏙️➡️🍨. Ice cream rundown: 🍓 I had the Surrender to Strawberry for the first time and WOW — amazing 🤤❤️ 🍦 My daughter had a kids cup with vanilla + white Oreo — she loved it 🥰🍪 🎂 My wife had Cake Batter + yellow cake — her longtime favorite, always a win 🎉 Overall, great ice cream & friendly service — just wish the store was bigger to match McKinney’s growth. ⭐️ 4 stars — tasty, friendly, just needs more space 🙌🍨
